Company Hires Accomplished New Regional Sales Directors
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC, MAY 1, 2013 – Zylera Pharmaceuticals, LLC, a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, acquires and commercializes prescription pharmaceutical products and dietary supplements and markets those products in the U.S. is pleased to announce the appointment of Edward Boylan and Rad Mignerey as Regional Sales Directors for the West and East, respectively.

Edward Boylan has over 22 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Ed began his career as a field sales representative with Janssen Pharmaceuticals. He has held progressive leadership positions in field sales management as a Trainer, District Manager and Regional Sales Director for Eisai, Inc. He has extensive experience in start-up operations, product launches, sales force expansions, integration and development. Sector experience includes long term care, assisted living, hospitals and pharmacy providers, managed markets and federal account management. Ed was part of the inaugural management team as a Regional Sales Manager for Somaxon Pharmaceuticals, and most recently as a District Manager on the Amylin Synergy team that launched the only once weekly injectable for Type II diabetes. He holds a BA degree from the Virginia Military Institute and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Saint Joseph’s University. Ed is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve.
Rad Mignerey has more than 15 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. He brings a robust track record of performance and leadership across many pharmaceutical sales teams and shared services functions including: Oncology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, Pediatrics and Incentive Compensation design and implementation. Rad has held leadership positions at Upjohn Pharmaceuticals, Eisai, Archimedes Pharma, and InVentiv Health. Rad holds a BA degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL.

Prior to joining Zylera Matt was Executive Director of Managed Markets for Victory Pharma Inc., contributing to the growth of that company from a modest start up to a respected organization with over $100 Million in revenue. At Victory, Matt was responsible for several areas of operations including Trade/Distribution, Government Accounts, Managed Markets, and Strategic Accounts. Matt brings with him a solid base of experience and an impressive history of building high performing partnerships in diverse markets while effectively promoting numerous products in multiple therapeutic areas. Matt’s previous experience includes sales, management and executive leadership positions in the home health care industry and within the pharmaceutical industry through positions at Dura Pharmaceutical, Eisai and Victory Pharma.
