Zylera Pharmaceuticals Announces Trade Launch of BONISARA for the Treatment of Osteoporosis

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina – October 30, 2006 - Zylera Pharmaceuticals announced today the availability of BONISARA™ (strontium gluconate 680mg and ranamine 30mg) for the treatment of osteoporosis.

About BONISARA
BONISARA is a proprietary form of strontium, which has been shown in extensive clinical trials to have a unique mechanism of action that operates on both pathways—bone loss and bone formation. The strontium in BONISARA works to stimulate the replication of osteoprogenitor cells and collagens as well as non-collagenic protein synthesis in osteoblasts, thereby enhancing bone formation.
