Zylera Pharmaceuticals Adds Marketing Strength to Senior Management Team

Rob Moscato will Lead Company’s Product Marketing Efforts, Hank Williams to Manage National Trade Accounts.
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina – September 12, 2006 – Zylera Pharmaceuticals, a specialty pharmaceutical company, announced today that Robert C. Moscato and James H. “Hank” Williams, III have joined the team to lead the company’s marketing and sales initiatives.
“This is a very exciting time at Zylera as we prepare to introduce several proprietary prescription products to the market before year end,” commented Dr. Philip Tabbiner, chief executive officer of Zylera. “Rob’s extensive product knowledge and background in pharmaceutical marketing and Hank’s years of industry experience as a national accounts sales manager are a winning combination that will move us into the marketplace very effectively.”
With more than 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Moscato was most recently senior product manager with a specialty pharmaceutical company, Cornerstone BioPharm Inc. For more than five years, Mr. Moscato held key product marketing roles with GlaxoSmithKline, launching key product brands.
Mr. Williams spent nearly 20 years with various subsidiaries of Mylan Laboratories Inc, including Bertek Pharmaceuticals, most recently serving as National Accounts Manager for Specialty Distribution. Prior to that, he was National Accounts Manager for Retail and Trade, with additional experience within the Managed Care industry.
“As a former product manager for several GlaxoSmithKline brands with extensive sales force development and channel marketing experience, Rob brings top-notch marketing capabilities to Zylera,” added Dr. Tabbiner. “Hank comes to us with well-established relationships with national and regional chain drug stores, managed care providers and distributors.”
